"You can't take life too seriously. In the end, you don't get out alive."
Outside the salon, I’m a New Orleans native, a cat parent, and an unapologetic snack goblin. If I’m not playing Tomb Raider or quoting Star Trek, I’m probably rewatching Buffy The Vampire Slayer or getting way too invested in a tabletop game.
I’ve been doing hair for over a decade, and I’m still learning everything I can. From the science behind the products I use to the best way to lift stubborn blue dye. I love when clients bring in character references or mood boards inspired by their favorite fandoms. Hair is personal, and so is connection, and I find the best hair moments happen when we’re laughing, nerding out, and building trust along the way.
Why I Might Be Your Person
I work with people who are tired of fighting their hair—and ready to understand it. My focus is curls, and I cut them in their curliest state, with an emphasis on geometry, movement, and restoring what’s been lost in years of trial-and-error care. If you’ve been told your hair is “too much,” “too frizzy,” or “unmanageable,” I’m here to say: your hair isn’t the problem. You’ve just been underserved.
Every appointment is designed to meet you where you are—whether you’re just starting your curl journey or reclaiming it after years of DIY. I believe in skill, honesty, and teaching you what actually works for your hair without pushing unrealistic expectations. My goal isn’t to change who you are—it’s to help you finally feel seen.

You take care of your hair at home far more often than you sit in a salon chair. Personalized education is about making sure the habits you practice every day are actually supporting your hair as opposed to quietly working against it.
During your appointment, I help you identify which routines, techniques, or product choices may be creating unnecessary damage, buildup, or frustration and what small shifts will make the biggest difference for your hair long-term.
Home care education also means helping you stop wasting money on products that were never right for your hair or your lifestyle. It’s not just what you use. It’s how, when, and why you use it.
Most people have a drawer or shelf of “well-intentioned bad decisions.” This is where we close that chapter. Instead of guessing, overbuying, or starting over every few months, you’ll leave with clarity, confidence, and a routine that actually works for you.
